Patron Capital, the pan-European institutional investor focused on property-backed investments, has completed a transaction to acquire 706 residential properties from Home REIT for £123m.
As a long-term investor in the residential sector, Patron will aim to improve the acquired portfolio with a strategically planned capital expenditure programme deploying its asset management expertise to upgrade the portfolio of homes that are located across the UK.
Patron has significant experience in delivering quality housing for communities and vulnerable people. Since it was founded in 2020, its Women in Safe Homes Fund, the world’s first gender-lens property fund focusing on providing homes for victims of domestic abuse, has purchased 122 properties and helped over 500 vulnerable women and children.
